Referencing a few of the other works, Venus once again depicts water, this time hinting towards its more reflective nature. The life giving force of water is the basis of this work, grounding the figure displayed in power. Accentuating the mediums’ elements of dark and light, this work reveres its subject that floats towards us from the dark, graphite background.
