Anamorphic mythos

The thread that connects this body of works is figures in states of balance. Most of the figures are anthropomorphic, elegant human figures transposed with animal heads. The figures are gentle, the graphite has rendered their skin as fleshy and soft, creating a sense of mortality. The figures stand quietly, awkwardly, reaching out to connect with one another, in states both vulnerable and protective.
